Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy applies only to bookings made directly through the This Must Be The Place website for all our locations.

Direct Bookings

Cancellation within 24 hours of booking

You may cancel your booking free of charge within 24 hours of making the reservation, provided your scheduled check-in date is more than 14 days away.

Cancellation more than 14 days before check-in

If you cancel more than 14 days before your scheduled check-in date, the first night's accommodation charge will be retained and the remaining balance will be refunded.

Cancellation within 14 days of check-in

Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable.

No-shows and early departures

If you do not arrive for your booking, or choose to leave before your scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for any unused nights.

Bookings Made Through Other Platforms

The cancellation policy above applies only to bookings made directly through our website.

If you booked through Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia or any other third-party booking platform, the cancellation policy associated with that specific booking will apply.

Cancellation terms can differ between platforms, properties and individual bookings. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact the platform you booked through to check the cancellation terms that apply to your reservation.

Where a booking has been made through a third-party platform, This Must Be The Place cannot override the cancellation terms agreed through that platform.
